Who provides Kayan

Kayan is a product of Sastemny. Sastemny is a registered company of Shieldra Holding (SHIELDRA EG). We operate from Cairo, Egypt.

The service

Kayan is a web assistant for writing, explaining and planning, in Arabic or English. You can make personas, keep Personal and Work chats apart, write documents, preview code, and put tasks on your calendar. Connecting a Sastemny shop from a Work chat is coming soon.

Kayan is not a doctor, therapist, teacher, lawyer or emergency service, and is not a substitute for professional advice.

Eligibility

You must be 16 or older to create an account. We record that you confirmed this and when. We do not collect your date of birth.

AI-generated content

Replies are generated by model providers we contract with. Kayan can be wrong. Check important information before you rely on it. You are responsible for how you use the output.

Personas

Personas are fictional characters you create. They are not real people. Companion and Listener personas are for conversation and support. They are not a therapist or a medical, psychological or legal adviser.

If you are in crisis or at risk, contact local emergency services or General Secretariat of Mental Health helpline (verify current number before launch).

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can review and revoke sessions from Settings. Contact support@sastemny.com if you think someone else used your account.

Your content

You keep the rights to what you write. You grant us a limited licence to store, encrypt and process it so we can provide Kayan to you. Do not use Kayan to harm others, break the law, or upload content you do not have the right to use.

Personal and Work

Personal and Work chats stay apart. Sastemny tools, when they launch, only ever appear in Work. You choose which persona and which chat type you talk in.

Sastemny

Connecting Sastemny is coming soon. When it is on, a Work chat can read shop data you have allowed and can propose actions. You confirm every change before it runs. You can revoke the connection from Settings.

Fees

Kayan Free is available now. Paid plans (Plus) are priced in Egyptian pounds and do not include 14% VAT. Fees, daily limits, deep-thinking caps, student prices and cancellation terms are shown on the Pricing page before any paid plan is confirmed. No payment is taken until a paid plan launches.

Acceptable use

Do not attack the service, scrape it in bulk, share an account, try to bypass limits, or use Kayan for malware, fraud, or content that exploits minors. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Suspension and termination

You can delete your account from Settings → Data. Deletion destroys the key used to encrypt your chats, so the stored ciphertext cannot be read. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop providing Kayan. We will give notice where we reasonably can.

Liability

Kayan is provided as available. We do not warrant that replies are accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent Egyptian law allows, Sastemny is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profit arising from your use of Kayan. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of Cairo have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be flagged in the product where we reasonably can.
